Sunday 10th October will mark World Mental Health Day 2021, and there’s never been a more important time for us all to come together to talk about mental health.
The mental health pandemic
According to charity MIND, we are experiencing a mental health emergency, with more than two thirds of adults with mental health problems reporting them being worse during lockdown.
Data from the Office of National Statistics also suggests that depression rates have doubled since the pandemic began.
Let’s normalise mental health!
So here at Planet Mindful, we want to encourage the normalisation of mental health for World Mental Health Day 2021.
By sharing the difficulties we have experienced during the pandemic and throughout our daily lives, we can help each other to talk more openly and seek help from friends, family or professionals.
